What’s new in 2024?

Measuring impact should be as rigorous as measuring financial returns. That’s why this year’s Impact Report introduces new ways to quantify and verify the change we help create.

🔍 Attribution: measuring Rubio’s role in impact
For the first time, we report on attribution, quantifying how much of our portfolio’s impact is directly linked to Rubio’s role as an investor. By prorating impact based on our equity stake, we create a new level of transparency in impact investing.

🧐 Ensuring accountability with our first impact audit
We launched an independent impact audit on our Fund 1 portfolio to verify and refine our reporting. The first results, expected in 2025, will strengthen the integrity of our impact data.

🔬 Beyond individual wins: investing in systemic change
Scaling solutions is important, but shifting entire systems is even more powerful. Our research into efficacy, efficiency, and systemic impact is already shaping investment decisions for greater long-term change.

🚀 Refining our methodology to measure what matters
We continuously improve how we assess and report impact. This year’s refinements ensure our measurement framework remains ambitious and aligned with the entrepreneurs we support.
