This impact driven company creates awareness about the value of waste. It incentivizes people to deliver their waste-streams by paying them for it and enabling Afval Loont to recycle waste. The special Afval Loont waste collection points are operated by people with a distance to the labour market.

For Afval Loont we tracked the impact targets:

Tons of CO2 emissions avoided
Number of employees in unemployment sector
Awareness for waste recycling (number of people)

These impact targets are no longer monitored, 27% of the final impact targets are realized.

These targets were linked to Sustainable Development Goals 8, 12 and 13.
