Accelerating the process of human learning

Lingvist aims to accelerate the process of human learning, including through language learning. This will ultimately catalyse significant socioeconomic, cognitive and scientific advancements, helping people work towards meaningful life objectives such as improved opportunities in employment and education, and overall personal development. The company’s technology specifically allows for the automatic addition of many smaller languages, which are most often underserved by traditional language educators.

For Lingvist we track the following impact targets:

• Number of users positively impacted (50%)*
• Benchmarking (through an RCT) Lingvist against other comparable language learning apps in the market in terms of teaching efficiency and efficacy (50%)

These targets link to Sustainable Development Goal 4.

*The cumulative number of people who indicated that Lingvist’s language learning app made a significant contribution to either:

i) Improved education outcomes;
ii) Improved career outcomes; or
iii) Improved quality of life.
