Prêts connects the dots between energy conservation and eco-friendly home investments. They simplify the journey towards energy efficiency, providing homeowners with independent financial advice right from within their energy provider’s app. They assists people in navigating which investments are right for them, considering not only data on their home (the way it’s currently being done) but also their energy consumption, tariffs, and financial situation. Critically, they offer this as a first step—providing people with a budget to invest, even if they don’t have cash available— and doing so with a net zero impact on their bills. This way, Prêts seeks to make sustainable home improvements easy, attractive, and rewarding. We believe that making the energy transition accessible for everyone is key to enabling a Just Transition, and we consider Prêts’ solution to be the missing piece here.

For Prêts we track the impact target:

• Tons of CO2 emissions avoided.
• # of underserved/lower income families whose budgets improved through sustainable renovations.

These targets link to Sustainable Development Goals 7, 10, 11 and 13.
